Permaculture heals you and the planet!
Inspired by the knowledge that oil is running out and the cost of transporting food will only increase, as well as the knowledge that it is expensive to buy only local and organic..I began a quest for a solution to our looming food crises.
What I found was that all of our problems are intertwined and that the solution was also so simple yet so complex that is was breathtaking in its beauty.
GROW YOUR OWN FOOD! Plants need CO2 and the more we grow the less there is in the air, we need fresh food again grow your own! There is more to say but Ill let these videos speak for me...

Nana Milk

Servings: One serving
I prefer this milk over nut milks! It is quick, easy, lighter, smoother and fat free. My Kids love it. It tastes slightly banana…but not overwhelming!
Enjoy!
Ingredients: 1 banana, peeled
1 pinch sea salt
1 dash vanilla
3 ice cubes
¼ cup water
Preparation: Throw all in the blender and blend till frothy! Serve over Muesli, Lydia’s raw cereal, or drink it from the glass! High in Enzymes! Yeah Bananas!

Antioxidant Wrap

Servings: Serves ME!
My FAVORITE quick meal. I love the bitterness of the tahini, the sweetness of the carrots and the spiciness of the onion.
Ingredients: 2 leaves lettuce, washed and dried
2 carrots washed, peeled or grated
.125 cup red onions (plus or minus), thinly sliced
1 tablespoon raw tahini
1 dash Braggs/Lemon etc, optional
Preparation: Spread your tahini thinly on the lettuce leaves, top with carrots and onions. Pick it up while leaning over your plate and get to chomping! Yummy!

Eat Local as much as possible!
Why local?
Because it saves our home and our health! Eating a predominately local and in season diet saves the load of transportation costs, environmental pollution and in general is designed for your health in mind, Momma nature knows what we need and when we need it! Farmers Markets, gardens, co-ops and sprouting are all great sources! I'm not against eating animals and if you go paleo and make your meat consumption ethical and local as much as possible. I believe that 10-30% animal clean animal protein is healthy and fine (if we were hunter gathers we wouldn't always catch our prey and when we did we would share it with the whole tribe. To help make veggie eating fun and delicious check vegweb.com
They have a large community of veggie heads who are doing great at making the usual stuff that we grew up on with a veggie twist.
Be well live well and remember its not about what you cant have or do its about what you can do, what you love to do and what feels good to you!
Take it a step at a time..
start your garden with sprouting..start your diet with always having your favorite fruit on hand and start your life with each new inhale!
